We are here to help you find your dream dress! Below is some information on booking, tips, and what to expect during your Bridal appointment with us at Onyx + Ivory!
Silhouette Appointment
First time trying on wedding gowns or still finding your style? A Silhouette Appointment
is your perfect starting point! During your appointment, we will explore the shapes, cuts,
fabrics and more of different gown options to really narrow down your style preferences.
We will have a full hour of finding your perfect silhouette! Silhouette Appointments
require a $25, nonrefundable downpayment upon booking. This downpayment goes
toward the purchase of your gown if found during the session! Maximum of six guests
are welcomed to join during your session.
Bridal Session
Ready to find the one? During this two-hour session, we will look beyond just the
silhouette of our gown options; we’ll focus on the intricate details, add-ons such as veils
and belts, and alteration/personalization possibilities! Bridal Appointments require a
$50, nonrefundable downpayment upon booking. This downpayment goes toward the
purchase of your gown if found during the session! Maximum of six guests are
welcomed to join during your session.
VIP Bridal Session
Are you wanting the full bridal experience? Booking VIP may be what’s right for you and
your party! During your VIP Session, we will explore a wide array of gown options as we
work our way from finding the perfect silhouette to considering customized dress details.
Feel free to bring everyone on your guest list – there is no guest limit as we will have
the house to ourselves after-hours! A charcuterie board and alcohol will be provided to
last us the night. Your VIP Session may last between 2-4 hours! VIP Bridal Sessions
require a $500 nonrefundable downpayment upon booking. This downpayment does
NOT go towards the purchase of your gown.

We recommend calling ahead to book, however we do offer an online booking request form (above). We prefer if you book 6 months prior to your event date, however, we love helping even with short notice; if your wedding is coming up soon, never hesitate to stop in or call! We will do our best to make your dream come to life with whatever notice we have!
We love seeing photos and Pinterest boards of your wedding dress inspiration! These pictures will help your stylist find a dress with elements and details that you love. Don't forget to keep an open mind during your appointment!
We recommend bringing 2-4 of your closest friends and family members to your appointment. You want honest opinions from people you trust, but too many opinions can be overwhelming. Remember, this is YOUR dress!!
Wear what makes you feel comfortable! Nude undergarments create the best look in the gowns. If you want to wear shape wear you can! Strapless bras can be helpful, but not needed. Underwear is required.
Remember to keep in mind your budget so we can choose dresses for you - we don't want you falling in love with a dress that is over budget! Alterations are an additional cost to keep in mind. We have dresses ranging from size 0-32.
